About the Role

What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on regulatory and policy issues in the crypto industry.
- Provide sound legal guidance on tech-related financial regulations and crypto matters.
- Draft and review legal documents and agreements, focusing on corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws governing financial services, crypto, and blockchain technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business units, to offer legal insights.
- Represent the company in negotiations with regulators and industry stakeholders on tech-related topics.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments in the crypto landscape.
- Share insights and recommendations with the legal team and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience as a lawyer, focusing on financial regulation or regulatory affairs.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and the crypto industry.
- Qualified to practice in the UAE.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills, capable of conveying complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
- Familiarity with financial products and relevant licensing requirements.
- Adept at working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, providing practical legal advice on tech-related matters.
