About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Vice President - Remote Sales Leadership to join Cloudera, a leader in data management and analytics. In this role, you will empower teams to transform complex data into actionable insights, driving digital transformation for the world’s largest enterprises. As a Regional Vice President, you will manage a team of sales professionals, focusing on expanding our customer base and achieving significant revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to address customer needs and priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and recommend product lines based on market trends.
  • Oversee large-scale transactions and drive the closing of significant deals.
  • Provide insights on competitive landscape and customer technology strategies.
  • Foster a high-energy, motivated team environment that encourages success.
  • Utilize excellent presentation and communication skills to convey Cloudera’s value proposition.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of sales experience in enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of managing sales teams and exceeding quotas.
  • Experience in fast-growing environments with resource constraints.
  • Strong ability to motivate and lead team members.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of selling complex products and solutions.

  • Experience in data management or analytics industry.

  • Previous roles in leadership positions within sales.
