Radiologic Technologist - Weekend Shift (Remote Options Available)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. This position offers a unique opportunity to work full-time on weekends, providing essential diagnostic imaging services while enjoying the flexibility of remote options. As a Radiologic Technologist remote, you will play a crucial role in patient care, ensuring high-quality radiographs for accurate diagnoses.

What You'll Do

• Produce quality diagnostic medical radiographs using appropriate exposure techniques.
• Document patient histories and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Perform OR/Surgery cases using C-arms and portable machines.
• Supervise and teach Radiology students during their clinical rotations.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Participate in continuing education and departmental meetings to enhance your skills.
• Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating respect and compassion to all patients.
• Utilize the Hospital/Radiology Information System for accurate data entry and management.

Requirements

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program and registry eligible.
• Minimum of two years of Radiology Technology experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients, as well as handle strenuous physical activity.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
• Willingness to work weekends and adapt to changing workloads.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced imaging technologies such as Flouro, Dexa, or EOS.
• Previous teaching or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
