Quality Specialist - Remote Opportunity in Pharma
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our pharmaceutical processes. This remote position allows you to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industries.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site inspections and spot checks during storage, manufacturing, and packaging processes.
- Review logs for cleaning production areas and equipment, ensuring proper documentation of relevant steps in manufacturing and packaging.
- Identify deviations in production and assist in their resolution while adhering to company-specific SOPs and guidelines.
- Analyze trends and support the definition of corrective actions.
- Conduct investigations and prepare investigation reports, addressing customer inquiries as needed.
- Support and oversee the execution of defined CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Ensure the development and implementation of SOPs related to the aforementioned tasks.
- Provide training to staff in accordance with defined SOPs, operational instructions, and manufacturing protocols.
- Assist in the preparation for regulatory inspections (local authorities, FDA, and other regulatory bodies) and customer inspections, as well as conducting self-inspections.
- Develop and create risk analyses and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Support the qualification and validation areas.
Requirements
- Degree in a scientific field or pharmacy.
- Experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a self-directed and responsible work style.
- High level of self-motivation, analytical thinking, teamwork, and flexibility.
- Problem-solving and customer-oriented work style with a high degree of commitment and technical understanding.
