Project Planner and Controller - Renewable Energy Focus
About the Role
We are looking for a Project Planner and Controller to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the energy transition, contributing to the development of a sustainable energy system. You will support the planning, control, and monitoring of projects related to the design and construction of new assets, such as overhead power lines, substations, and regulation plants.
What You'll Do
- Ensure accurate project planning by producing project plans in collaboration with the Design and Implementation Team.
- Control project progress throughout its entire lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor physical progress and financial reporting, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Interface with various functions and stakeholders involved in the project.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze project risks and manage contingency plans effectively.
- Identify critical issues and propose improvement scenarios based on critical path analysis.
- Produce comprehensive project reports that provide key insights to decision-makers.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering and prior experience as a Project Planner in the construction sector.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar project management tools.
- Ability to set up and manage complex project plans, including defining tasks, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
- Experience in customizing reports and dashboards for monitoring project status, resources, and budgets.
- Strong analytical skills to process and analyze financial data, identifying variances from the budget and proposing corrective actions.
- Experience in creating monitoring plans and responding to risks, with proven implementation experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis software, such as advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for processing and presenting complex data.
- Ability to develop customized reports that provide key insights to decision-makers.
Nice to Have
- At least 4 years of experience in similar roles within the Infrastructure, Oil & Gas sectors, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with a strong team-oriented approach.
- Motivation to pursue a career at Terna, with curiosity and flexibility for new tasks.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 (modules PS, CO, and MM) and Tagetik.
- Internationally recognized Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP(R), PRINCE2(R), or certifications in cost management and risk management (CCP) are preferred.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
