About the Role

UDC is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Project Manager, you will lead software integration projects that are crucial to our clients in the energy and utility sector. This Project Manager role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients while ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with our company’s mission and values.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of software integration projects.
  • Manage system implementation and software integration projects, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Supervise project personnel and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive project plans and status reports.
  • Ensure quality control of all project documentation and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with various departments to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Participate in proposal development and client presentations to secure new projects.
  • Travel may be required up to 50-75% for client meetings and project oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 4-10 years of project management experience, particularly in system implementation and integration projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of project management standards and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey project status and updates.
  • Experience in people management and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software tools.
  • Experience overseeing testing and defect tracking processes.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Proven conflict resolution and change management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).
  • Experience in the energy and utility sector.
  • Familiarity with Esri's Utility Network integrations.
