Epic Certified Inpatient Solutions Developer - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking an Epic Certified Inpatient Solutions Developer - Remote to join our team at OCHIN. As a rapidly growing national nonprofit health IT organization, we are dedicated to transforming health care delivery to promote health equity. This role will allow you to contribute to our mission by developing, configuring, and supporting software and integrations that enhance application functionality.
What You'll Do
- Develop and test new features, integrations, and enhancements for our Epic systems.
- Lead working sessions with OCHIN members and vendors to gather requirements and feedback.
- Perform complex build and configuration tasks to ensure optimal performance of Epic applications.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Work remotely with occasional travel for on-site support as needed.
- Engage in initiatives that contribute to improving health in underserved communities.
- Maintain a healthy work-life balance while being part of a growing virtual workforce.
Requirements
- Epic ClinDoc and/or Epic Orders Certification is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of certified Epic developer experience.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data-driven decisions.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset to tackle challenges.
Nice to Have
- Experience with telehealth technologies.
- Knowledge of health equity initiatives.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools.
