Contract Recruiter - Remote Position for Education Nonprofit

About the Role

Leading Educators is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is crucial as we aim to enhance student success through excellent teaching by recruiting top talent in the K–12 education sector. As a Contract Recruiter, you will support our recruiting efforts during a high volume hiring period, ensuring that we find the best candidates to fulfill our mission.

What You'll Do

• Manage assigned searches and support the recruiting process for various educational roles.
• Engage directly with candidates and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth hiring process.
• Conduct candidate screenings and participate in interviews to assess qualifications.
• Maintain organized candidate pipelines within the applicant tracking system.
• Conduct proactive outreach to potential candidates using platforms like Greenhouse or LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Work approximately 24 hours per week, typically over three days.
• Participate in organizational retreats and job-related events as needed.

Requirements

• Three to six years of recruiting experience, particularly in nonprofit organizations or the education sector.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to connect with candidates effectively.
• Ability to assess candidates with educational backgrounds to ensure a good fit.
• Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as Greenhouse or LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing candidate pipelines.
