About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Planning Assistant to join our team at Britten-Norman. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the aerospace industry, assisting in the planning and execution of aircraft maintenance documentation. As an Engineering Planning Assistant remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all maintenance events are accurately scheduled and recorded.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the Engineering Planning Coordinator in managing aircraft maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and the Quality Management System.
  • Control all aircraft technical record documentation and input required maintenance data.
  • Liaise with internal and external Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations.
  • Compile Aircraft/Engine/Propeller/Modification logbooks and release to service certificates.
  • Participate in the audit of Hangar Projects to ensure adherence to processes.
  • Develop professional knowledge through workshops and professional societies.
  • Maintain company confidentiality and comply with legislation and regulations.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs Grade C/4+ including Maths and English.
  • A City & Guilds or BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in aircraft engineering.
  • Competent in Word and Excel for reporting and data presentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for business support.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
