Production Operator - 5 Shift System (Remote Opportunity)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in a 5-shift system, offering a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our operations in Sisseln, Switzerland. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the Vitamins Production Department, working within a team that values safety and high standards. This role is perfect for experienced chemical operators looking to develop specialized skills in a flexible and dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate and regulate multiple production processes both on-site and from the control room.
• Monitor equipment and process parameters to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct first-level checks during disturbances and perform maintenance work according to safety regulations.
• Collect samples and perform initial analysis when necessary.
• Diagnose deviations in production parameters and take corrective actions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the workplace.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a chemical or pharmaceutical technician or similar.
• Several years of experience as a shift operator in a chemical plant is advantageous.
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are a plus.
• Quick comprehension, self-motivated work style, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• High reliability, flexibility, and resilience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GMP, ISO, and APV standards.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the FoodTech industry.
