Product Designer II - Remote Position at QuillBot

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Designer II remote to join our innovative team at QuillBot. What You'll Do

• Drive end-to-end product design, from initial user research to final pixel-perfect delivery, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and senior design leadership.
• Design QuillBot’s browser extension experience for Chrome, Edge, and Safari, focusing on interaction patterns and visual design.
• Ensure seamless integration of the browser extension with our web app and other product surfaces, creating a unified user experience.
• Contribute to and evolve our design language system, balancing the reuse of patterns with the creation of new scalable components.
• Advocate for user experience by understanding user needs and behaviors, crafting thoughtful experiences within browser constraints.
• Participate in design critiques, mentor peers, and contribute to team rituals to nurture a culture of design excellence.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience designing consumer-facing web products or browser extensions.
• A portfolio showcasing systems thinking, polished visual design, and user-centered processes.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills, with a solid understanding of responsive design and web patterns.
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Claude, or code.
• Ability to write well and understand how language shapes user experience.
