Procurement Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. This role offers real influence and the opportunity to build and lead our procurement function from the ground up. As a Procurement Specialist, you will shape frameworks, systems, and supplier partnerships that support efficient, ethical, and value-driven purchasing across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and lead a Group-wide procurement framework, including policies, governance, compliance, and ethical sourcing.
  • Drive strategic sourcing, tenders, and contract negotiations to deliver cost savings and value.
  • Oversee fleet management through an external lease provider, ensuring compliance, optimization, and accurate reporting.
  • Implement and improve procurement systems, processes, and reporting to support efficient purchasing and decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders and suppliers, providing guidance, training, and strong vendor management.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management with strong knowledge of best practices, contract management, and compliance.
  • Experience managing fleet operations or working with external lease providers.
  • Proven negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience establishing procurement functions or frameworks, with knowledge of legislation and ethical sourcing principles.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement & Contract Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or Finance.
  • Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance within a growing organization.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) - or willingness to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) - or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate (or willingness to complete via the NDIS Commission portal).
