Process Lead - Accounts Receivable & Billing Automation (Remote)

Join Deel as a Process Lead in Accounts Receivable and Billing Automation. This remote role is pivotal in transforming our financial operations, ensuring efficiency and control across our global teams.

What You'll Do

• Lead the optimization of end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing processes, focusing on automation and operational excellence.
• Analyze and implement automation-first strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort in core AR and Billing workflows.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process turnaround times and cash flow forecasting.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to develop robust financial systems that support global operations.
• Establish strong Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls to mitigate operational risk and ensure compliance.
• Drive change management initiatives, influencing cross-functional teams to adopt new processes and technologies.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to finance leadership regarding operational performance and future automation strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance, Operations, or Process Improvement, particularly in Accounts Receivable and Billing.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing process automation within complex financial environments.
• Exceptional analytical skills with experience in managing KPIs and using data to inform operational decisions.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, especially with technical teams.
• Experience in a fast-paced, international tech environment is highly desirable.
