Privacy Program Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Privacy Program Manager to join Jumio's team in a remote capacity. This role serves as the operational engine of Jumio’s global privacy program, translating privacy and AI governance requirements into actionable project plans and measurable outcomes. As a Privacy Program Manager, you will work closely with the Global Head of Privacy and collaborate with various departments including Product, Engineering, and Support to ensure that privacy requirements are integrated into daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Manage the privacy program’s project portfolio, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence for documentation, project tracking, and creating dashboards that provide visibility to leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and report on privacy program metrics and KPIs.
• Oversee Jumio’s end-to-end Data Subject Request (DSR) process, coordinating with internal teams for timely responses.
• Maintain privacy policies and procedures, ensuring organizational alignment with required practices.
• Support the maintenance of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and related documentation.
• Project manage AI governance operational requirements, including compliance with the EU AI Act.
• Coordinate operational activities of the AI Governance Committee, including scheduling and documentation.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in privacy program management or similar roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs.
• Practical understanding of global privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Comfort working with technical teams and discussing data flows, APIs, or machine learning models.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• IAPP AIGP certification or other privacy or AI governance credentials.
• Experience in high-risk data environments such as biometrics, fintech, or healthtech.
• Familiarity with privacy or governance tools such as Transcend, Securiti.ai, Jira, or Confluence.

• Base salary ranging from CAD $153,000 to $167,000, with geographical adjustments for tier 1 locations.
