About the Role

We are seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Software Integration Engineer to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. As a Principal Software Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating complex software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement software integration solutions for embedded systems.
• Utilize your proficiency in Python to write clean, testable code and manage embedded/hardware interfaces.
• Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and develop firmware for various hardware components.
• Conduct unit/component testing using tools like pytest and unittest to ensure software reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software integration engineering with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Strong knowledge of Python, C++, and experience with scripting languages.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with engineers and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML).
• Familiarity with hardware description/validation tools.
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence.
