About the Role

We are seeking a talented Principal Product Designer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will shape the UX/UI strategy for Flex’s digital products, transforming the traditional, often fragmented $90B+ moving, storage, and last-mile delivery industry into a customer-first service with a Wow experience online and offline. As a Principal Product Designer remote, you will operate at the intersection of consumer-facing booking flow and apps, marketplace supply platform, and internal tools to drive efficiency and user satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end design strategy for high-impact initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
  • Lead generative and evaluative user research to understand pain points and opportunities.
  • Create, maintain, and evolve the company’s design system and component library.
  • Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate UX flows and validate design functionality.
  • Translate complex logistical workflows into intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly digital tools.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to hand off high-fidelity designs, ensuring feasibility and technical accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations leadership on key concepts and visuals.
  • Work closely with the Marketing creative team to ensure all designs are on-brand.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing complex, high-scale application design.
  • Expertise in Figma, prototyping tools, and information architecture.
  • Exceptional ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear, actionable designs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in logistics and marketplace design is highly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with A/B testing and usability research.
  • Familiarity with coding principles to support design handoff.
  • Leadership experience in guiding design teams.
