We are seeking a Principal Electronic Warfare Integration and Test Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do
- Support the development and integration of electronic warfare subsystems to meet mission objectives.
- Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Conduct detailed trade studies and perform risk analysis, developing mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage supplier documentation and performance-based specifications.
- Perform aircraft ground and flight tests on subsystems to validate requirements.
- Engage in technical discussions with customers and various teams.
- Lead the team in maintaining high technical standards and rigor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s with 3 years, or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
- Experience in designing and testing RF equipment for airborne platforms.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with model-based systems engineering using SysML tools.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in supplier management and technical evaluations.
