PR & Communications Manager - Germany (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a PR & Communications Manager to join Tide's team and help grow our presence in Germany. This remote role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the FinTech industry while working with a company dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As a PR & Communications Manager, you will be pivotal in driving awareness, excitement, trust, and reputation for Tide in the German market.

What You'll Do

• Embed yourself with local teams and external stakeholders to enhance Tide’s visibility in Germany.
• Build and maintain a strong news pipeline with impactful product and company announcements.
• Lead and support campaigns focused on fintech, female entrepreneurship, and small business advocacy.
• Manage relationships with tier-one and industry media, owning the German Press Office and all media interactions.
• Collaborate with Tide’s Country Manager and C-Suite to deliver consistent messaging across earned media.
• Anticipate and manage complex issues to safeguard and strengthen Tide’s reputation.
• Work closely with internal teams to turn strategic initiatives into influential PR.
• Support events, webinars, and conferences, overseeing logistics and content.

Requirements

• Solid mid-senior level experience in PR and communications, ideally within financial services or technology.
• Proven ability to build strong media relationships and deliver quality coverage in Germany.
• Excellent communication skills in both native-level German and fluent English.
• Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset and passion for supporting small businesses.
