Strategy Associate - Remote Role at Preply

About the Role

We are seeking a Strategy Associate to join our dynamic team at Preply, a leading EdTech company revolutionizing the learning experience. This remote Strategy Associate role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our executive team and contribute to our mission of transforming education through innovative strategies and AI-enhanced learning.

What You'll Do

• Drive and support high-impact transformation projects across the business, focusing on evolving our value proposition with new AI tools and services.
• Build and analyze financial and business models to assess new opportunities, including emerging market segments, product offerings, pricing strategies, and potential M&A or partnership initiatives.
• Conduct regular data-driven analysis and research to identify improvement areas and recommend new growth initiatives.
• Track and measure the impact of strategic projects by defining KPIs, monitoring performance, and ensuring follow-through on recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather inputs, test assumptions, and support implementation of new initiatives, gaining exposure to multiple teams and workstreams.
• Create structured presentations, dashboards, and reports to summarize insights, communicate findings, and support decision-making across Product, Customer Experience, Finance, Marketing, and Leadership.
• Facilitate alignment between teams by coordinating workstreams, managing timelines, and ensuring stakeholders are informed and moving toward shared goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or planning, ideally in a high-growth tech environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with hands-on experience building models in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI) is a plus.
• Proactive and resourceful mindset; eagerness to learn, take ownership, and work through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience identifying root causes, evaluating options, and driving structured, practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information, create clear narratives, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing strategic and operational depth.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the EdTech sector or similar industries.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in business strategy.
• Experience working in a remote team environment.
