Plumbing Installer - Sustainable Construction

About the Role

Plant Prefab is seeking a Plumbing Installer to join our team in Tejon Ranch, California. This Plumbing Installer remote position plays a crucial role in our mission to revolutionize sustainable construction. You will be responsible for all plumbing activities within our innovative factory, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Complete plumbing duties including planning, layout, installation, and repair of various plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Adhere to safety regulations and Plant Prefab’s quality standards while executing all plumbing work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trades and subcontractors, to ensure successful production operations.
• Utilize best practices and latest SOPs to build Plant Modules and Plant Panels efficiently.
• Identify non-value-added operations and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and OSHA safety regulations throughout all plumbing activities.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned to support the overall success of Plant Prefab.

Requirements

• 5+ years of plumbing installation experience, preferably in custom residential, modular, or multi-family construction.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing concepts, including GasFlex codes and PEX codes.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to connect with team members at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high caliber of craftsmanship.
• Experience operating high-speed equipment and handling hazardous materials safely.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes.
• Experience in a startup environment, demonstrating resourcefulness and determination.
