Platform & DevSecOps Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Platform & DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at MC Engineering. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Italy, contributing to exciting projects in the telecommunications sector. As a Platform & DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring secure and scalable deployments.

What You'll Do

• Design and manage cloud infrastructures on GCP, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Orchestrate containers with Docker and Kubernetes, utilizing Helm and ArgoCD for deployment.
• Write scripts in Python and Bash to automate complex processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Apply DevSecOps principles to ensure security and monitoring of cloud infrastructures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or a Technical Diploma with solid experience.
• At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong experience with GCP and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Intermediate knowledge of DevSecOps principles and security practices.
• Fluent in English (B2 level or higher) for technical documentation and international collaboration.
