Pharmacy Technician - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Pharmacy Technician, your role is to support the pharmacist in providing excellent pharmaceutical care to all of our customers. You will ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly and assist the pharmacist in their daily tasks while providing amazing customer care in an environment where respect, caring, and compassion are at the heart of all we do. This Pharmacy Technician remote position offers a unique opportunity to work from home while still making a significant impact on the health and well-being of our customers.
What You'll Do
- Support the pharmacy team as the first point of call for customer queries.
- Drive items and services by building relationships with local doctor surgeries (GPs) and practice teams.
- Get to know our customers and local communities to enhance service delivery.
- Inspire your team with your amazing customer care and attention to detail.
- Share your knowledge with your team to improve overall care quality.
- Pass on feedback and take steps to enhance our services.
- Recommend health services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical legislation and policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a community or hospital dispensary or in over-the-counter healthcare.
- Completion or registration in a recognized Pharmacy Technician course in Ireland.
- Knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical legislation and policies.
- A passion for providing first-class customer service.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with pharmacy management software.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
