About the Role

Join RWE as a Student Assistant in Civil Engineering for Renewable Energy Projects. In this role, you will contribute to the planning and construction of wind and PV parks in Germany, while working in a supportive and innovative environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Civil Engineering team in developing processes and standards for renewable energy projects.
• Participate in infrastructure planning for wind and PV parks, focusing on access roads and crane locations.
• Create and edit digital terrain models to support project planning.
• Conduct quantity take-offs in preparation for the awarding of planning and construction services.
• Support project reporting and documentation efforts.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Geology, or a related field.
• A completed apprenticeship as a draftsman or technical draftsman is a plus.
• Proficiency in planning software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Infraworks, or similar tools, along with experience in GIS applications.
• Initial experience in planning construction projects, preferably for wind farms or other infrastructure projects.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across project teams.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice to Have

• Experience with renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of local regulations and environmental considerations.
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
