About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join our dynamic team at Remote. What You'll Do

• Act as a subject matter expert for payroll processes in Denmark.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, and Engineering teams.
• Oversee the full end-to-end payroll process including statutory filings, approvals, and compliance.
• Ensure data integrity and quality in payroll operations.
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs to drive performance improvements.
• Implement and enhance payroll processes for efficiency.
• Mentor and support junior payroll specialists.
• Provide backup support to regional managers during their absence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and compliance.
• Proficiency in software tools such as SAP and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working remotely is a plus, but not mandatory.
