Payroll Implementation Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Implementation Manager to join our team at Deel, a leading payroll and HR platform. This remote Payroll Implementation Manager position offers you the opportunity to oversee the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for our clients. You will play a critical role in ensuring that clients’ data is accurately transferred and systems are properly configured, contributing to a seamless transition.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the full payroll implementation process, ensuring timely and accurate data migration.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to guide clients through the setup and migration phases.
• Define and set up client payroll processes, establishing all payroll and data requirements.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll project matters, ensuring effective communication with clients.
• Oversee the migration of payroll data from legacy systems to the new global payroll system, ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive testing plan to identify and resolve system issues.
• Implement change management strategies to ensure a seamless transition for employees and HR teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across Poland.
• Experience with payroll systems and software.
• Client-facing project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Experience with AI-powered payroll tools.
• Familiarity with international payroll compliance.
• Knowledge of data migration best practices.
