This Payroll Compliance Analyst role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that is transforming global payroll processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local payroll regulations in Belgium, making a significant impact on the way businesses manage their payroll.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product Specialists to understand country-specific payroll compliance requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development of the country’s payroll engine.
• Educate the Product team on legislation, ensuring the correct implementation of technical specifications by the Development team through thorough testing.
• Develop and maintain legislative specifications for reports and integrations, ensuring new in-country requirements are addressed for ongoing compliance.
• Ensure continuous upskilling and compliance awareness of the Product team by collaborating on new in-country requirements.
• Utilize your strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR to guide the team effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of payroll experience in Belgium with advanced knowledge of local payroll tax.
• Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with clients and align with various stakeholders.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is an advantage.
