Payments Pricing & Operations Analyst II - Remote

About the Role

Toast is seeking a Payments Pricing & Operations Analyst II - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming the restaurant industry by integrating technology with a strong commitment to customer success. As a Payments Pricing & Operations Analyst, you will become an expert in understanding card processing pricing and various market pricing strategies, which is essential for supporting our sales team and enhancing our payment solutions.

What You'll Do

• Conduct advanced payments pricing analyses for new business opportunities and existing customers.
• Manage effective internal and external communications, including existing customer pricing negotiations.
• Support the sales team as a subject matter expert regarding Toast’s payment solutions.
• Improve operational processes that touch Toast Payments to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with Sales Enablement on Payments education initiatives.
• Utilize Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL on a daily basis to analyze data and present findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in an analytical or operations position.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to understand financial models.
• Proven capacity to navigate complex customer conversations and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience preparing comprehensive presentation materials and contributing to strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience identifying process improvement opportunities.
• An inquisitive nature and a mathematical/analytical mindset.
