Payment Specialist - International Networks (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payment Specialist - International Networks to join our dynamic team at Diners Club Spain. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a leading company in the payment solutions sector, recognized for its innovative approach and commitment to customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Manage and control BINs with Discover (DCI) and Mastercard, including technical certifications.
• Coordinate operational audits with Discover on a biannual basis.
• Evaluate and finalize XPRESS versions of Discover (DCI) on a semi-annual basis.
• Maintain continuous relationships with key networks and partners such as Redsys, Mastercard, and Discover.
• Oversee the VCN (Virtual Card Number) service with Discover and Mastercard.
• Manage transaction authorization issues in coordination with Redsys, Discover, and Mastercard.
• Identify and analyze new service needs arising from large clients, both new and existing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in payment operations, card networks, or authorization/issuance departments.
• Fluent in English, minimum C1 level (continuous communication with Discover and Mastercard).
• Deep knowledge of the payment ecosystem (issuers, acquirers, international schemes, authorizations).
• Technical knowledge: understanding of APIs and FTPs, basic SQL programming skills.
• Desirable technical knowledge: ISO 8583 protocol, BIN management, chip card certification processes, transaction authorization, VCN services, relationship with ACS.
• Ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers and partners.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance.
• Problem-solving skills for technical and operational issues.
• Analytical mindset to identify process and service improvement opportunities.

• Experience in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
