About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Sales Assistant/Driver to join our team at the Dulux Decorator Centre in Burton. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy customer interaction and are passionate about providing exceptional service. As a Sales Assistant/Driver, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience while driving sales of AkzoNobel products. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of £12.66 and the opportunity to earn sales-based bonuses.

What You'll Do

• Engage with customers to provide a warm welcome and informed conversations about our products.
• Utilize client service tools to ensure a consistent and personalized customer experience.
• Support the store’s monthly customer contact plan and participate in engagement planning.
• Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor effectively.
• Load the delivery van and plan efficient delivery routes to customers’ homes and businesses.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize sales and market share of AkzoNobel products.
• Participate in monthly store meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Encourage skill development among colleagues using our training tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service or retail role.
• Valid driving license is essential for this role.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Calm demeanor under pressure, ensuring excellent service at all times.
