Part-Time Remote Telehealth Therapist - LGBTQIA+ Focus

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Remote Telehealth Therapist to join our FOLX Behavioral Health Services team. As a therapist, you will provide individual therapy to our members through a telehealth platform, focusing on LGBTQIA+ care. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about mental health and want to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual therapy through synchronous video sessions to adults with a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and clinicians to support comprehensive treatment as part of the FOLX clinical team.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions and needs; develop and implement therapeutic interventions appropriate to treatment goals.
• Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the team through EMR in accordance with FOLX Health policies and procedures.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and clinical team meetings.
• Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation.
• Help design, coordinate, and provide therapy.

Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Hawaii.
• Experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health conditions and treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with LGBTQIA+ populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Additional certifications in mental health specialties.
