Part-Time Pathologist - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Pathologist to join our team at Genesis Global Group. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while performing essential medical duties for the accurate and timely diagnosis of patient specimens. As a Part-Time Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality laboratory services and patient care.

What You'll Do

• Perform accurate and timely diagnosis of patient specimens.
• Create high-quality, accurate, and pleasing laboratory reports.
• Provide consultation to clients, patients, and employees.
• Support all staff in the performance of their duties.
• Work with clients to ensure all needs are met with satisfaction.
• Provide on-site support for various clients, as assigned.
• Help ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements of the laboratory are successfully followed.
• Perform other laboratory duties as assigned by the medical director.

Requirements

• General knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) required for the role.
• Basic computer literacy for running instrumentation and/or Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions.
• High level of attention to detail and reliability.
• Commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Willingness to undergo training similar to that of histotechnologists or medical technologists, if applicable.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with medical diagnostic procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
