Part-Time Office Therapy Aide - Child Therapy Support
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Office Therapy Aide to join our team at Talking Tadpoles. This role is essential in providing support to our therapists and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our clients. As a Part-Time Office Therapy Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our therapy spaces while assisting therapists with patient care. This position is perfect for individuals who are action-oriented, positive, and enjoy working with children.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming relationship with clients and staff.
- Keep all office areas organized and clean, including sanitizing employee and patient bathrooms.
- Assist therapists with patient transitions and hand washing before and after therapy sessions.
- Prepare treatment areas for therapy and ensure safe and sanitary conditions.
- Sanitize gym equipment and toys as requested throughout the day.
- Document and communicate effectively using computers and electronic health record systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection-control procedures.
- Represent the clinic in the community in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Ability to work scheduled hours from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to sustain physical and mental activity throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds occasionally.
- Knowledge of standard policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.

- Experience working with children exhibiting behavioral, emotional, or sensory regulation challenges.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stimulation environments.
