About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Accounting Associate to join our team at Sereni, a leading funeral services provider. This remote opportunity allows you to contribute to a meaningful industry while working flexible hours. As a Part-Time Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring smooth operations within our organization.

What You'll Do

• Process, review, and forward incoming invoices efficiently.
• Create and record outgoing invoices accurately.
• Assist in accounts receivable management and reconciliation of open items.
• Communicate with external partners, including factoring service providers.
• Maintain and manage accounting-related data diligently.
• Contribute to the optimization of internal processes.
• Support additional administrative tasks in the office as needed.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in preparatory accounting is essential.
• Structured, meticulous, and independent working style.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., DATEV) is a plus.
• Strong team player with a reliable work ethic.

• Previous experience in the funeral services industry.
