About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Package Manager to join Hanwha Ocean in a remote capacity. As a Package Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our transformative journey in the energy sector.

What You'll Do

  • Compile lessons learned from prior projects to enhance package execution strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive package execution strategies leveraging Global Frame Agreements and current market conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Package Engineer to address technical challenges and support RFQ preparations.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure alignment with project priorities throughout the package execution.
  • Oversee quality controls during the manufacturing process and monitor supplier document submissions.
  • Conduct regular contractual reviews and mitigate risk exposures proactively.
  • Provide progress updates to the Project Procurement Manager and conduct root cause analyses for quality issues.
  • Facilitate the handover of completed packages to the Completion Team and support construction and commissioning phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or a minimum of four years of relevant technical procurement experience.
  • Proven track record in managing packages/categories, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a focus on managing demanding deadlines.
  • Experience in package engineering, manufacturing, integration, inspection, and testing.
  • Ability to control and minimize non-quality costs associated with assigned packages.
  • Demonstrated success in ensuring zero open Outstanding Work Lists (OWL) and Site Observation Reports (SOR) at package close-out.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in renewable energy projects.
  • Familiarity with international procurement standards.
  • Advanced certifications in project management.
