About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Statkraft, Norway's largest power producer and Europe's leading renewable energy provider. This remote opportunity will allow you to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects in the energy sector. As an Apprentice Industrial Mechanic, you will work closely with our maintenance team, learning the intricacies of maintaining and operating our hydro and wind power facilities.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing solutions.
• Work alongside experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge and skills.
• Follow safety protocols and demonstrate respect for the environment.
• Document maintenance activities and report on equipment status.

Requirements

• Completed VG1 and VG2 in accordance with apprenticeship requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental respect.
• Good organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Basic IT skills and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a structured and flexible manner.
• Fluent in Norwegian, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a mechanical or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems.
