About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Nutritionist to join our team at Siloam Hospitals. This Nutritionist remote position offers the opportunity to implement food service and nutrition programs that promote health and disease control across our facilities. You will play a crucial role in assessing the nutritional needs of patients and developing tailored dietary plans.
What You'll Do
- Plan and implement nutrition programs throughout the hospital to enhance patient health.
- Conduct initial and regular nutritional assessments of inpatients to evaluate their dietary needs.
- Monitor and analyze patient dietary intake to ensure adherence to nutrition therapy plans.
- Provide educational and dietary counseling to inpatients and outpatients for effective treatment processes.
- Collaborate with catering services to develop standard recipes and hospital food menus.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Document patient treatment processes and maintain accurate records for reference.
- Implement quality and safety procedures to support hospital-wide health indicators.
Requirements
- Diploma (D3) Degree in Nutrition.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in nutrition services, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and dietary management for various health conditions.
- Proficient in assessing nutritional needs and developing care plans.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills.
