About the Role

We are seeking a talented Multidisciplinary Application Engineer to join our team at Cindavi. This role involves building real-world hydraulic systems from concept to production while working hands-on with cutting-edge electro-hydraulic technology. Although this position is located onsite in the Minneapolis, MN area, we offer relocation assistance for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

  • Design and document hydraulic components and assemblies using 3D CAD models and 2D drawings.
  • Support the design and integration of electro-hydraulic systems, including sensors, valves, and control modules.
  • Develop and execute test procedures for prototype and production systems.
  • Collaborate with applications and controls engineers to validate hardware and software integration.
  • Work closely with assembly and machining teams to ensure manufacturability and design intent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Fluid Power, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in hydraulic system design, fluid power testing, or electro-hydraulic integration.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting, with SolidWorks preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to PLC and HMI systems or mobile controls.
  • Experience with CODESYS or C++.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks Electrical.
