Mid-Senior UX Designer - Remote Contract Position

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Mid-Senior UX Designer to join our team on a remote contract basis for a duration of 6 months. This role is designed to enhance our product's UX foundation and drive critical design initiatives forward. As a UX Designer remote, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex problems into clear and intuitive user experiences.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to and utilize a design system that supports consistency and faster delivery across teams.
• Translate complex workflows, product requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive user experiences.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to support active product work.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure quality and speed in design implementation.
• Drive alignment with stakeholders by iterating in real time, capturing feedback, and converging on practical design decisions.
• Conduct targeted user research and usability validation to enhance the user experience.
• Explore and apply AI-assisted design workflows to improve efficiency and output quality.
• Contribute practical standards and reusable patterns rather than one-off mockups.

Requirements

• Strong systems thinking and experience in creating or improving design systems.
• Proficiency in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers and demonstrate technical fluency in designing practical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including tokens, variables, auto layout, and component structure.
• A portfolio showcasing shipped product work and clear rationale behind design decisions.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience designing for AI-enabled products or technical platforms.
• General familiarity with front-end technologies and design-to-code collaboration.
