We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior Software Developer to join our team at Zachary Piper Solutions. This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States while contributing to innovative projects. What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, maintain, and document software solutions using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
  • Tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to enhance our software offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver expert advice on application design and usage.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the technical team.
  • Review, diagnose, and fix defects and problems promptly.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and apply them to improve our software development processes.
  • Communicate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage and maintain corporate software libraries efficiently.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in software development, particularly in web-based solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
  • Experience in developing RESTful web services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
