Actuarial Pensions Consultant - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We welcome applications for the position of Actuarial Pensions Consultant - Remote at WTW. This role is ideal for candidates at various stages of their actuarial journey, whether you are part-qualified, nearly or newly qualified, or fully qualified. As an Actuarial Pensions Consultant, you will contribute to our UK Defined Benefit pensions work, engaging in innovative projects that make a significant impact.

What You'll Do

• Provide expert advice on regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews.
• Work on diverse projects including integrated risk management and liability management.
• Engage in plan design strategy and asset and liability modeling.
• Contribute to mergers and acquisitions projects.
• Mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development.

Requirements

• Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work.
• IFoA part-qualified, nearly/newly qualified, or fully qualified actuary.
• Strong client-service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven delegation skills and a desire to coach and mentor junior colleagues.
• Self-starter attitude with a willingness to challenge yourself and step outside of your comfort zone.

Nice to Have

• Experience in innovative pension projects.
• Knowledge of asset and liability modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with the latest actuarial software tools.
