About the Role

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Ruby on Rails.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Design and optimize database schemas and implement effective design patterns.
- Develop and maintain background jobs and system integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps.
- Follow best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, Agile/SCRUM, refactoring, and coding standards.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve application performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
- Strong working knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RDBMS, and OOP concepts.
- Solid understanding of database design and software design patterns.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
