Mid-Senior Modern Workplace Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Modern Workplace Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on enhancing collaboration and productivity through advanced workplace technologies. As a Modern Workplace Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in the integration and support of next-generation workplace solutions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across various platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, deploy, and manage Microsoft Teams services, including meetings, telephony, and AV in meeting rooms.
  • Enable AI-powered productivity using Microsoft 365 Copilot while ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft 365 apps and services.
  • Support and manage Miro and Google Workspace environments, handling user provisioning, policy enforcement, and integrations.
  • Provide resolution for complex issues across collaboration platforms.
  • Design and implement automation workflows with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and Power Automate.
  • Deploy and operate voice and video solutions across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of modern workplace services, including AudioCodes SBC configuration and DLP policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to architect and enhance digital workplace solutions.
  • Maintain current technical documentation and actively contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends within the modern workplace sector.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in working with Modern Workplace platforms: Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint).
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of telephony, voice, and video technologies, including PSTN and SBC integrations.
  • Competency in data networking, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), and system administration.
  • Background in identity and access management solutions (e.g., Entra ID).
  • Familiarity with AI-driven productivity tools and their governance, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Google Gemini.
  • Skills in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Knowledge of compliance, data governance, and security best practices related to modern workplace environments.
  • Strength in troubleshooting and resolving complex, cross-platform issues.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B1 level.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with additional cloud platforms and collaboration tools.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, AWS).
