Mid-Senior GRC Consultant - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior GRC Consultant to join our team remotely. As a GRC Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our governance, risk, and compliance frameworks across various business units. This remote position allows you to work flexibly while making a significant impact on our organization’s compliance posture.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and standards aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Assess compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other regulations, identifying gaps and recommending remediation steps.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to gather evidence and support interviews.
• Facilitate governance boards and steering committees to ensure effective communication and policy management.
• Manage project plans, milestones, and risks while leading cross-departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong background in GRC with experience in data governance and compliance.
• Proficiency in RSA Archer and OneTrust platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project management experience, preferably with PMP certification.
• Deep understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CIPP, CISM, or CISSP.
• Experience in higher education institutions.
• Familiarity with audit coordination and readiness assessments.
