Mid-Senior Full Stack Engineer - Remote Product Development

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Full Stack Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in building innovative products that enhance operational efficiency. This position is not just about maintenance; you will actively ship features that operators use daily, such as workflow automation, candidate management, and AI-driven screening.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship production features across the full stack — frontend, API, and database.
• Create complex workflow automation and business logic that drives the core product experience.
• Develop responsive, high-performance UI components and views for operational end-users.
• Implement API endpoints with typed contracts and runtime validation.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and migrations to enhance performance.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into our platform.
• Contribute to AI-powered features that enhance user experience.
• Collaborate directly with end-users and stakeholders to translate operational needs into product features.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship (clearance eligibility required; active clearance not required at hire).
• 3+ years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript across both frontend and backend.
• Experience with React (Next.js preferred), including server-side rendering and modern React patterns.
• Experience building RESTful or RPC-based APIs using frameworks like Hono, Express, or Fastify.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience, including schema design and query optimization.
• Comfort with ORMs (Drizzle, Prisma, or similar) and type-safe database access patterns.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of shipping features end-to-end in production environments.
• Experience with AI/ML integration in production applications.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Docker and AWS services.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Vitest and Playwright.
• Knowledge of modular monolith and hexagonal architecture.
