About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Enterprise Wireless Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at Metrowireless. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to work in a fully remote environment while leading the deployment and management of HPE/Aruba Enterprise Wireless networks. As an Enterprise Wireless Network Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless connectivity and performance for our clients.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of HPE/Aruba Enterprise Wireless networks.
  • Manage and provision Aruba Access Points and Wireless LAN Controllers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct RF planning, site surveys, and wireless performance optimization to enhance connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot complex wireless connectivity, authentication, and roaming issues effectively.
  • Support, configure, and maintain our core ISP/WISP network infrastructure.
  • Provision and troubleshoot network routing and switching using Mikrotik and Cisco equipment.
  • Manage dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and traffic engineering for high availability.
  • Ensure performance monitoring and rapid response to outages to maintain network integrity.

Requirements

  • Fluent/Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory for effective communication with our worldwide team and clients.
  • Proven hands-on experience in implementing and managing HPE/Aruba wireless products (APs and Controllers).
  • Strong background working in an ISP or WISP environment.
  • Deep technical expertise configuring and troubleshooting Mikrotik (RouterOS) and Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) routers and switches.
  • Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLANs, OSPF, BGP).
  • Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment with strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Official certifications from Aruba (ACMA, ACMP).
  • Experience with network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible).
