About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at BrainRocket. As a DevSecOps Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our DevSecOps culture and ensuring the security of our innovative tech products. Join us as we continue to expand our presence in the FinTech, iGaming, and Marketing sectors.

What You'll Do

  • Develop direction, create a roadmap, and improve the DevSecOps culture within the company.
  • Assist DevOps in securing Istio and ServiceMesh setups, as well as Kubernetes (EKS) security configurations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to transfer services for their support and provide training in security principles.
  • Implement OPA and virtualization configuration security analyzers.
  • Set up CI/CD security and enhance the security of solutions utilizing DevOps tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Integrate security scanners into pipelines to automate security processes.
  • Contribute to the automation of security management processes.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, particularly CI/CD.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency in configuration management systems such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
  • Experience in web server and database administration.
  • Knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack and the OSI model.
  • Understanding of microservice application architecture principles.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Cloud experience, particularly in AWS or GCP security.
  • Experience in infrastructure analysis for information security risks and mitigation.
  • Experience in automating management processes and access control.
  • Experience administering SIEM systems (e.g., ELK, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with Vault management systems and privileged user control systems.
  • Experience implementing security scanners and their pipelines.
  • Understanding of SSDLC (OSAMMv2) principles.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Certifications in DevSecOps or related fields.
