Mid-Senior Data Architect - Microsoft Azure Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Architect (remote) to join our client's Microsoft Business Solutions team. This position is based in Sliema, Malta, and offers a hybrid work arrangement. As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing large-scale Modern Data Platforms, Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics solutions for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Assist in architecting and designing Modern Data Platforms, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with business experts to translate business requirements into data functionality.
• Enforce technical architecture and documentation standards, policies, and procedures.
• Produce comprehensive technical architectural documentation to support data and analytics solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster skill development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data and Analytics technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Proficient in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Formal training and/or certification on related technologies is highly valued.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products and the Dataverse.
• Experience with CI/CD development approaches.
• Understanding of Data Governance frameworks.
