About the Role

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer remote to join Anduril Industries, a defense technology company dedicated to transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. As a Software QA Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Software & Firmware products.
  • Perform thorough functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software/firmware defects.
  • Collaborate with developers to debug issues and verify fixes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience testing in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Git and common platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Basic proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest.
  • Automated UI testing tools like Playwright or Selenium.
  • Backend testing experience.
