Mid-Level QA /​ Test Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We’re hiring a Mid-Level QA / Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and usability. As a Mid-Level QA / Test Engineer, you will validate features, identify defects, and improve overall product quality. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver stable and high-performing software.

What You’ll Do

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Build and maintain automated test scripts
• Validate APIs, UI components, and backend systems
• Participate in sprint planning and requirement reviews
• Improve QA processes and testing coverage

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in QA or software testing roles
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and quality mindset
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, etc.)
• Experience testing microservices or distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
