Mid-Level Product Owner - Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Product Owner (Remote) to join our dynamic team at The Quality Group. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our products in the Operations sector. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify them, and prioritize features that have a clear business impact. What You'll Do

• Work closely with our Operations Business Stakeholders (e.g., Logistics, Planning, Supply Chain) to gather and clarify their challenges and requirements.
• Guide the development team through business requirements and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Transform operational requirements into actionable user stories and epics, breaking them down into manageable tasks to ensure continuous progress.
• Create and manage tickets for internal teams and external service providers, driven by your initiative and the team's needs.
• Maintain and manage the product backlogs, identifying dependencies to ensure effective release planning.
• Play a central role in prioritizing requirements through close communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as the primary communication point for the team, promoting transparency and openness.
• Oversee the implementation of requirements and take project ownership for cross-team initiatives related to operations to ensure successful delivery of solutions and features.
• Coordinate the involvement of external service providers, ensuring quality and timely delivery while proactively engaging in strategic discussions to align product decisions with efficiency, scalability, and business impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner and/or Project Manager in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated success in implementing digitalization, automation, or efficiency improvement initiatives along operational processes (e.g., Logistics, Planning, Supply Chain).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end operations processes and a keen interest in complex IT topics.
• Ability to work at the intersection of business and IT, acting as a driving force within the development team.
• Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, or similar systems to foster an efficient and structured project environment.
• Excellent facilitation and assertiveness skills to motivate the team.
• High self-motivation combined with a structured and goal-oriented working style.
• Fluent in German (C1 level) and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the FoodTech industry.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools.
